Abstract

                 Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) is an infection that occurs in the upper and lower respiratory tract. ARI is a disease that is very common in the community, especially in toddlers. This study was aimed to describe the use of antibiotics for ARI on pediatric based on the criterias of the right drug, the right dose, the right indication, and the right patient, in Sikumana Community Health Center, Kupang for the period of September November 2019.                    This study was conducted retrospectively using a descriptive analytical method, because the data of the antibiotic used will be analyzed descriptively. Total sampling technique was used because the numbers of population was 20. The data collected will be compared to the guideline or the standard therapy used as reference, Pharmaceutical Care for Respiratory Infectious Diseases.               The results showed that the only antibiotic therapy used was amoxicillin. All the analysis criterias (the right drug, the right dose, the right indication, and the right patient) were 100% appropriate. Key words: Acute Respiratory Infections, Antibiotics, Pediatric.
