FORMULASI DAN TEKNOLOGI SEDIAAN KRIM DAN SALEP EKSTRAK DAUN SIRSAK (ANNONA MURICATA L.)

Abstract

Soursop (A. muricata L.) is one of the family species of Annonaceae species that has long been used in traditional medicine in the country and in various countries. One of its benefits as an antibacterial. This study aims to know and master the manufacture of cream and ointment preparations using active substances from soursop leaf extract. The viscous extract  is  obtained  by  maceration  with  methanol.  The  obtained  viscous  extracts  are formulated into cream and ointments. Evaluation of physical properties of creams and ointments include Organoleptic, BJ, Scouting, pH, homogeneity. The results showed that the ointment was physically stable while the cream did not satisfy the good scattering criteria because the consistency was too dense to resemble the paste.   Keywords: Annona muricata L, Antibacterial, Cream, Ointment
